Burmese Temple [ 22-FEB-2009 ] + view blog details + |
After we left the Tanjong Tokong area, we still wanted to shoot more so I had suggested Khai Keat to drop by the Burmese Temple at Burmah Road, Pulau Tikus area. This place remains me back to the day when I first gotten my second lens, 28-135mm, which I had picked this temple to be the venue for my test shots. It's still a nice place to go to shoot if you haven't been there before as you can see a lot of authentic Burmese decorations and carvings on the roofs of the temple.

Besides, the admission to this temple is free but then do take note that there might be tour guides following you and telling you stories about the temple and also what the mythical characters represent and etc but they might ask you for a small donation of RM5. There wasn't such cases back then during my first visit to here but then I guess, the times are bad Just do what you think it's best, if you feel free to do some donation by all means go ahead and if not, do not force yourself.

I believe we left a little early as there are still more of these big mythical figures behind the temple in which we had missed out. For sure, I will be back there again This time, I will carry my full gears there Do you let me know if you are interested in joining.
