Heavy Repairs

Lots of unpleasant things had been going on recently... A week had passed with my desktop down for repairs :( With thorough diagnostics, I finally figured out that it was the motherboard that was faulty. The machine won't budge even when the power button is pressed and the CPU fan was not turning either. The power was totally being cut of from the machine and there was no signs of life, it's cold dead :(

In accordance, I was left with no other choices but to get a new motherboard. With hope, I started to dismantle the parts from my old motherboard to be installed to the new one. After hours of cleaning the casing and assembling the parts together, I started to boot my machine and I was able to see the BIOS and my mouse and keyboards were working fine. I was a very happy man the moment I saw something is showing up on my LCD. But I was smiling with joy too soon. Upon exiting BIOS and entering windows boot, I was surprised to discover that my mouse and keyboard was not detected. To make things worst, my rear fan somehow got fried and stopped turning

So again I had to go get a new rear fan and also re-setup my OS.

This whole machine down thingy was really impacting me. Lots of my data are all inside it and without my access to it, I felt like part of me was kinda lost hahaha... hey trust me, it's that bad

But fortunately, it's working now and I am slowly doing the necessary setups to install back applications that I will be needing. RM500 gone spent on getting the parts to repair my machine... uuhhhh .... :( But at least all my data is still around and intact. No hard disk failures... aiks ..... touch wood touch wood
