Days before, my best buddy had approached me for a photography outing and today's the day. It had been a while since we both had ventured in a photo outing together and today is a good for doing so as the Penang heritage group will be having events going on round the clock. We started our journey at 7.30am and headed to somewhere around town for breakfast. It's always important to fuel up before starting to shoot hahaha to avoid any hungry moments After a decent breakfast, we started to head down to the jetty area for our shoot. Surprisingly we saw people already started queuing up for the free boat ride.We snap a few shots here and there and went to all of the different surname jetty's around there. The houses there are pretty much impressive standing strong on top of the sea and there's electricity supplied to each and every house there Having enough of the jetty, we proceeded to the Armenian Street to shoot the surrounding temples. We were lucky to be able to find a parking slot just along the road and near enough for us to walk short distances to reach the surrounding temples. The first temple we went to was Khoo Kongsi but it was unfortunate that we still need to pay the admission fees regardless of the Heritage event :( But no matter, there were lots of other temples for us to shoot so we made our to the remaining temples. Here are some of the shots that I had picked up for this blog. Hope you guys enjoy this While walking along the streets, we saw a group of tourists led by a local, was busy introducing the nearby places of attractions as well as cracking jokes. Seeing the fact that there were tourists, trishaw riders gathered nearby, waiting patiently and readily available to offer these tourists for a ride around the Pearl of Orient (with a price of course) Penang is a place full of historical value and through my observations, the Penang government had put in the effort to help promote these tourists attractions to get more people to visit Penang. I am proud to be a Penangite Do you feel the same?
