Weekends had once again landed and activities was such that we had decided to go for some morning shooting. The plan was to go shoot sunrise at Gurney drive and then proceed to attend the mudball campaign which will feature our Penang Chief Minister. But due to the gloomy weather, we didn't manage to capture any sunrise and also we skipped the mudball event as it had started to rain. We waited a while to see if there's any luck that the Sun will show up but unfortunately it didn't. While waiting we just did some random shots.



By skipping the mudball event, we went for breakfast at the tosai coffee shop near waterfall. It did rain while we were having our breakfast inside the coffee but not long after, it stopped and we decided to go to the botanical gardens for a walk Seeing the fact that I visit the garden quite often, I didn't snap much this round. Surprisingly, I saw quite a number of butterflies flying around after the down pour Here's one which steadily spreads its wings for them to be dried.



The rest of the pictures are mostly flowers and leaves. After the rain, the flowers looks more fresh with the droplets of water on them.





Among all the pictures that I had taken, I think the one that I liked most is the picture below. An abstract of a leaf pattern It's now my wallpaper for the time being ... whahahah



It's not a very fruitful day but I guess it's good to at least have something to past after waking up at 6.30am just for some shooting Cheers guys and enjoy your weekend !!!
